Dr. Dody Tyneway holds a B.S. in Animal Science from Cornell University. She graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. Postgraduate studies include an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the world-renowned Animal Medical Center in New York City. She became certified in veterinary acupuncture through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, is a certified Tuina practitioner, and has studied classical acupuncture and herbal medicine with Dr. Xie at the Chi Institute.
Dr. Tyneway is a veterinarian certified in animal chiropractic by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association and the Integrative Veterinary Medical Institute. She has practiced rehabilitation for over 12 years and is certified by the Canine Rehabilitation Institute. Additionally, Dr. Tyneway is certified in Veterinary Chinese Herbal Medicine through both the Chi Institute and the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies.
Dr. Tyneway’s family consists of a husband, two sons, three dogs, and three cats. She is actively involved in dog sports having participated in numerous AKC and USDAA agility championships and her dogs also compete in nose work.
