Dr. Wright had a childhood dream to become a veterinarian. He remembers the essay written in the fourth grade where he indicated veterinary medicine was his chosen profession. A focused and intelligent young man, he attended Cornell University on a fast track program and achieved his Bachelor of Science and DVM degree in only 7 years. We joke that he is our “prodigy”. He is smart, compassionate, and experienced.

After practice ownership in Northern California, and raising his son and daughter, Dr. Wright relocated to Southern California. We are so glad he has returned to Calabasas Animal Clinic where he had been previously employed for 14 years.

In his spare time, he enjoys writing short stories, refurbishing his sailboat, gourmet cooking, tennis, golf, writing, and basic dressage riding.
