Dr. Watrobski’s knack for math and science and natural love of animals was a perfect match for someone who ultimately pursued a career in veterinary medicine. This veterinarian “can’t imagine doing anything else.” Through school she worked as a veterinary nurse, caring for the hospitalized animals. After veterinary school, she completed an internship and naturally settled in the area to be close to her family.
Dr. Watrobski’s special interests in veterinary medicine include dermatology, wound management, and pain management. She is working towards acupuncture certification and is looking forward to integrating holistic medicine into her treatment plans.
Outside of work, Dr. Watrobski participates in an outreach program called Wings of Discovery as one of her special interests is wildlife and conservation medicine. Some day she would like to work the Iditarod as a vet. Seems like she has landed at the right spot as we do treat a lot of animal athletes in our practice! She shares her home with a feline geriatric wonder named Leland. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and doing jigsaw puzzles with Leland by her side.
